This is not universal. One competitor states on their own pricing page that exceeding your monthly credits is “not possible” — you upgrade the whole plan, or you stop. Mid-campaign, on a Friday.

Resolution squares the pixels, so it squares the price. A 4× render is sixteen times the work — we’d rather price that plainly than bury it. Failed renders are refunded automatically; you’re charged for images you receive.

- How much does Anjin Design cost?
- Starter is £29 a month for 1,000 renders and Pro is £79 a month for 5,000. All prices include UK VAT. Every feature — the API, MCP, brand kits, batch rendering and unlimited templates — is on both plans. Top-up packs start at £25 for 500 renders.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes: 30 credits, no card required, no watermark. That is enough to import a design, build a template and render properly rather than just click around.
- What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?
- Rendering stops with a clear 402 error and you buy a top-up pack. You are never billed a surprise and never forced onto a bigger plan to finish a campaign.
- Do you charge per user or per seat?
- No. Team members are unlimited on both plans — you pay for renders, not people.
- How much does a high-resolution render cost?
- A render costs scale² credits: 1 at standard resolution, 4 at 2×, 9 at 3× and 16 at 4×. Sixteen times the pixels costs sixteen credits, and the API response tells you the cost.
- Do you offer annual billing?
- Not yet — monthly only, billed in GBP.
- What happens to a render that fails?
- It is refunded automatically. You are charged for images you receive.
